Name: Teratolepis fasciata. Commonly known as the viper gecko because it has keeled scales like a viper, or as the turnip-tailed or carrot-tailed gecko, due to its conspicuously fat tail in which it stores fat. Reclassified as Hemidactylus imbricatus in 2008, but still called Teratolepis fasciata by a majority of the hobby.
